Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Director of Payer Partnerships to lead the next generation of value-based behavioral health care. You will own the full sales cycle for new payer partnerships and guide transitions from fee-for-service to outcomes-based contracts.

You will negotiate with health plans, build data-driven value propositions, and collaborate with operations to ensure successful implementation across markets, in a remote-first environment with multi-state eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in healthcare sales or payer contracting.
• Proven track record negotiating complex VBC or pay-for-performance contracts.
• Deep knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and commercial plans.
• Strong negotiation, financial and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payer partnerships sales cycle from pitch to signed contracts.
• Lead renegotiations transitioning fee-for-service to VBC models.
• Negotiate terms, rates and performance metrics for contracts.
• Build data-driven value propositions tailored to plans.
• Manage contracting lifecycle and handover to Partner Success.
