Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Director of Payer Partnerships to lead our next phase of value-based behavioral health care. You will own the full payer sales cycle and drive contracts that expand access to addiction and behavioral care from coast to coast.

You will negotiate complex VBC and pay-for-performance deals, shape strategy with data-driven value propositions, and partner with teams to ensure successful implementation and long-term contract performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, payer contracting, network development, or managed care.
• Track record of negotiating and closing complex value-based contracts with health plans.
• Deep knowledge of alternative payment models and payer operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payer partnership sales from pitch to signed contracts.
• Lead renegotiations transitioning partners to risk-sharing models.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape pricing and program design.
