Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director, Patient Engagement, Experience and Recruitment to lead patient recruitment and retention across clinical studies, including driving next-practices in engagement and operational execution. This remote role reports to the Head of Patient Engagement, Experience and Recruitment and supports Massachusetts-based virtual operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in patient recruitment, engagement and trial optimization.
• Experience with leading edge trial optimization vendors and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead study-specific patient recruitment and retention strategies with outsourced model using strategic partnerships and real-world data.
• Provide guidance to Patient Recruitment and Retention team including enrollment cycle time planning and site identification.
• Evaluate financial impacts of vendors and recruitment strategies; communicate with partners.
• Grow an industry network to support Takeda's clinical operations in enrollment goals.
• Educate clinical operations staff on trial optimization principles.
• Empower team members to deliver project solutions and remove barriers to success.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver patient engagement and enrollment in studies.
