Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to lead a cross-functional team delivering secure, scalable managed cybersecurity services. This senior role blends strategy, people leadership, and hands-on oversight across security software, cloud, and operations.

You will drive security platform roadmaps, partner with Security Operations and Sales, and mentor engineers while aligning engineering work with customer needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering leadership.
• 5+ years leading technical teams in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and multiple security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing security engineering team.
• Define the technical strategy, architecture standards, and roadmap for security platforms.
• Oversee design, deployment, and lifecycle management of SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and cloud security.
