Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Division Director of Operations for Pathology Services to oversee daily operations across the Continental and MidAmerica Divisions. You will provide leadership for program management and drive standardized processes and performance analytics.

This role requires collaboration with hospital leadership, adherence to accreditation standards, and strategic planning to optimize resources and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business is required.
• Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
• Three years’ supervisory experience in hospital-based programs or physician practice management of multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily operations and management of pathology programs across divisions.
• Provide leadership and direction for pathology program management and daily operations.
• Serve as Hospital Based Services representative to ensure contract terms are met.
• Develop, communicate, and implement standardized operations processes and workflow design.
• Monitor key performance indicators and ensure timely budgeting actions.
• Identify opportunities to expand scope of pathology services and improve utilization.
• Interact with senior pathology leadership to align clinical needs with operations.
• Review monthly quality, clinical, and operating reports; adjust staffing as needed.
• Participate in annual budgeting and forecast impact of changes to services.
