The Director of Laboratory at HCA Healthcare, Inc. leads 24/7 operations of the clinical laboratory to ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee specimen collection, testing services, workflow design, and staff management, driving service quality and patient satisfaction.

This role requires strategic input, budget oversight, and collaboration across departments to optimize performance and safety in a high-volume hospital setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• Requires Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology or Chemistry.
• State of Florida Supervisor's License in at least 3 areas: Blood Bank/Immunohematology - Chemistry - Hematology - Histology - Microbiology - Serology/Immunology.

Responsabilités

• Directs 24-hour operations and activities of the clinical laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Provides direction to department personnel to achieve operational and technical objectives including workflow design, service quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and inter-departmental integration.
