Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Division Director of Operations for Pathology Services to lead daily operations across the Continental and MidAmerica Divisions. This role requires coordination of pathology programs, standardizing workflows, and ensuring contract terms are upheld while aligning with divisional goals.

The position involves working with Hospital-Based Services leaders, physicians, and executives to drive performance, quality, and financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business is required.
• Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
• Three years’ management experience in hospital-based programs or physician practice management across multiple locations.
• Experience with healthcare financial management, third-party reimbursement, and facilities management.
• Physician practice operations, business development, and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of daily operations for pathology services across divisions.
• Represent Hospital-Based Services and ensure contracted terms are met and aligned with divisional interests.
• Develop and implement standardized operations processes and workflow design; monitor key performance indicators.
• Budgeting, financial planning, and reporting; analyze variances and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet clinical operations needs and ensure timely case reporting and staffing.
