Job summary

Dianthus Therapeutics Inc seeks an Executive Director, Head of Bioanalytical Sciences to lead the bioanalytical strategy across research, translational, and clinical development. This senior role reports to the VP, Clinical and Translational Development and serves as the scientific authority for assays and biomarkers.

The candidate will build a scalable function, manage CROs and laboratories, and ensure quality, data integrity, and regulatory readiness. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• PhD or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive bioanalytical leadership in biotech/pharma/CRO.
• Proven success leading bioanalytical strategy across programs and development stages.
• Deep expertise in bioanalytical method development, qualification, validation, transfer, troubleshooting, data review, and assay lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company-wide bioanalytical strategy, operating model, standards, and capability roadmap.
• Lead bioanalytical support across research, translational, and clinical programs, including PK, pharmacodynamic, immunogenicity, and biomarker assays.
• Provide scientific oversight for assay strategy, platform selection, reagents, method development, qualification/validation, tech transfer, sample analysis, data interpretation, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure assays and data are fit for purpose, compliant with regulatory expectations, and support key program decisions and milestones.
• Lead resolution of complex assay, data, quality, or vendor issues with Quality, program teams, and external labs.
• Own or oversee bioanalytical content for regulatory submissions, briefing packages, and health authority interactions.
