Job summary

Ladders seeks a Director, Manufacturing to provide enterprise-level leadership for manufacturing performance across multiple sites, emphasizing consistency, productivity, and capacity planning. The role partners with plant leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to remove constraints, strengthen execution, and improve throughput while scaling operations into new regions to support growth.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in multi-site manufacturing or fabrication operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, capacity planning, and throughput optimization.
• Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams through influence.
• Experience at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and construction.
• Background in mechanical fabrication or modular construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise accountability for manufacturing performance metrics.
• Lead and align plant managers to ensure consistency with enterprise standards.
• Establish standard operating expectations across all manufacturing locations.
• Set enterprise standards and targets for manufacturing infrastructure and productivity.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify constraints and prioritize improvements.
• Sponsor cross-facility improvement efforts aligned with strategy.
• Lead manufacturing expansion into new regions to meet project demand.
