Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring for a Director, Learning & Customer Excellence to define and execute learning, capability development, and customer-experience strategies across Global Central Laboratories. The role drives onboarding, governance of learning content, and scalable programs that improve organizational effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12 years)
• 5 years of management responsibility
• Strong leadership skills
• In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Global Central Laboratories Learning & Capability Strategy.
• Establish competency frameworks, proficiency standards, and capability models across PM, PDM, and related functions.
• Define role-based learning pathways, readiness criteria, and development programs.
• Lead onboarding, customer experience training, and learning operations.
• Drive VOC and continuous improvement programs across Global Central Laboratories.
• Partner with senior leaders to reinforce culture transformation and leadership development.
