MDI NetworX is seeking a Director, Finance to lead the company's finance function, overseeing financial operations, accounting, reporting, close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and offshore-supported finance activities. Reporting to the COO, this leader balances strategic planning with disciplined day-to-day management across onshore and offshore resources.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive Finance or Accounting experience at a director or senior manager level.
• Experience managing offshore, outsourced, or distributed teams in a multi-shore model.
• Strong accounting skills with GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations and controls.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar financial systems.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Willingness to travel for in-person collaboration within a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core financial operations including AP/AR, GL, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight with the COO.
• Support internal and external audit processes and compliance.
• Maintain financial controls, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Oversee offshore finance staff and offshore processes with defined SLAs.
• Develop finance playbooks and delegate routine tasks to offshore team.
• Decide which functions are offshore vs onshore in partnership with the COO.
• Ensure offshore handling of sensitive financial data meets security standards.
