Job summary
ZenBusiness is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Enterprise Platform and Integrations team. You will guide people, platforms, and delivery practices powering external partner integrations, tying partner experiences to formation, compliance, pricing, and fulfillment capabilities.
The role blends engineering leadership with integration strategy, leading a pod of engineers and shaping API architecture, tooling, and reusable platform capabilities for scalable partner programs.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading software engineering teams.
- Experience designing, building, or operating external APIs and integrations.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and API security.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience managing roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineers supporting Enterprise APIs and partner integrations.
- Define technical vision and roadmap for API platforms and integration capabilities.
- Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, observable, and well documented.
- Balance partner delivery with platform health and technical debt.
- Coordinate with Product, Security, Sales, and external partners on delivery.
