Job summary

JPC Partners seeks a Director of IT Engineering to lead the engineering function for core business applications and system integrations. This role drives enterprise and integration architecture, owning Boomi, API gateway management, Azure integration, ETL pipelines, and CRM platforms.

You will govern outsourced development and managed-services partners, and champion AI-assisted software development to boost productivity and quality while ensuring security and governance across the tech stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in application/integration engineering.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Experience with enterprise integration and API management.
• Experience with ERP/CRM integration.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tooling and governance.
• Ability to identify AI opportunities with secure data access and governance.
• Experience managing vendors and managed-services partners.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, mentor, grow, and develop leaders in the engineering function.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
• Own delivery across Boomi, API gateway, Azure integration, ETL pipelines, and CRM.
• Own enterprise and integration architecture and standards across the application estate.
• Drive AI-assisted development adoption with standards, guardrails, tooling, and training.
• Govern outsourced development and managed-services engagements.
• Manage full lifecycle of engineering initiatives with stakeholder alignment.
• Strengthen team resilience through cross-training, documentation, and succession planning.
• Partner with IT and business teams to coordinate shared platforms and delivery.
• Own talent, budget, and vendor-sourcing decisions for the function.
