Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industrial service sales experience.
• Experience with automation & control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI), industrial networks, MV/LV systems.
• 3+ years' experience in a related industry.
• High energy goal-oriented team player with strong communication, forecasting, and solution-selling skills.
• Prefer knowledge of sectors: agri-food, power generation, oil/gas, mining, petro-chemical.
• Prefer sales and/or production experience: construction, outage & project management; NERC program management & testing services.
• Solid computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
• 50% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide outside sales targeting electrical and controls engineering and project management services.
• Develop new customers and grow existing accounts to meet a $50M annual sales budget.
• Perform direct sales and business development activities to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Develop a sales strategy for engineering and controls business.
• Assist in estimates, proposals, and presentations.
• Visit accounts regularly to maintain strategic relationships and identify opportunities.
• Maintain industry and technical knowledge per market requirements.
• Support marketing activities like road shows, conferences, tradeshows, trainings.
