Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Director of Data Science (AI/ML) to lead a technical team focused on developing and validating AI/ML models for CenterWell’s portfolio. You will partner with product management, IT, and data governance to translate priorities into scalable AI solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

You will supervise a team of data scientists, establish technical standards, and drive responsible AI practices while ensuring production readiness and maintainability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data science experience with proven production ML deployments.
• Hands-on coding, model development and production readiness.
• 5+ years of management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience translating requirements into technical AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML model development and validation for business-wide applications.
• Maintain deep technical expertise and apply appropriate healthcare contexts.
• Promote rapid prototyping and validate feasibility before full development.
• Establish enterprise-level model monitoring and performance tracking.
