Updater is seeking an ambitious, strategic leader to head corporate development, sourcing acquisitions and partnerships to accelerate growth for our B2B2C platform.

You will partner with the CEO, CFO, and senior leaders to evaluate opportunities, build financial models, and drive integration post-close, while representing Updater at industry events. This remote-first role offers a fast-paced, high-impact path in a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or private equity
• Proven ability to source, structure, and close deals
• Strong financial acumen and multi-model ROI analyses
• Experience leading due diligence and post-close integration
• Remote-friendly with executive stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term corporate development strategy with the CEO and CFO
• Source, evaluate, and prioritize acquisitions and partnerships across priority verticals
• Lead deal process from outreach and valuation to closing
• Develop investment cases and present to the executive team
• Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities
