Job summary
Lumicity partners with an established water treatment company to hire two Directors of Business Development in North America. The roles will focus on growing both municipal and Food & Beverage water markets, developing strategic relationships with utilities, engineers and EPCs.
Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in water/wastewater sales, deep technical knowledge, and a proven hunter mindset with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in water/wastewater, industrial water treatment or process equipment sales.
- Strong technical understanding of water treatment technologies and processes.
- Established relationships within Municipal or Food & Beverage markets.
- Proven hunter with strong business development, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Grow municipal drinking water business across North America and Food & Beverage sector.
- Develop relationships with utilities, engineers, EPCs and contractors.
- Drive opportunities involving RO, membranes, filtration and engineered systems.
- Identify and close complex capital equipment and engineered-system opportunities.
