Job summary
Chromalloy seeks an executive Director, Fleet NPI Strategy to shape and execute the company’s New Product Introduction strategy across Aero, Power Generation, Military, and APU platforms. You will connect market intelligence, fleet lifecycle trends, and OEM/customer needs to identify investments and long-term growth opportunities.
You’ll collaborate across Business Development, Engineering, Customer Support, ECOE, MARCOM, and site leadership to translate insights into priorities and actionable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace/aviation aftermarket, gas turbines, MRO, product strategy, NPI, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of engine and fleet lifecycles and how dynamics affect aftermarket demand.
- Experience developing market intelligence and competitive insights and translating them into growth strategies.
- Knowledge of OEM priorities, customer requirements, and aftermarket dynamics in aerospace or gas turbines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the NPI strategy across Aero, Power Generation, Military, and APU engine platforms for portfolio expansion and growth.
- Develop understanding of fleet lifecycle and how fleet changes influence repair demand.
- Build market intelligence on OEM product strategies, engine platforms, customer needs, and aftermarket trends.
- Translate OEM and operator needs into opportunities for Chromalloy.
- Evaluate portfolio and capabilities to identify gaps across new, mid-life, and mature engine platforms.
- Partner with Business Development and Customer Support to engage OEMs and customers and develop growth opportunities.
- Build business cases for new capabilities, products, and investments based on market potential and value.
- Translate market insights into clear portfolio priorities and investment directions.
- Collaborate across Engineering, ECOE, and MARCOM to move opportunities from concept to market.
- Monitor market and portfolio performance to stay aligned with opportunities.
- Provide leadership with recommendations on market opportunities, portfolio strategy, and growth potential.
- Support customer and OEM discussions by connecting Chromalloy’s capabilities with market needs.
- Ensure initiatives meet safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
