Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Director of Mainframe Systems Programming, with responsibility for leading multiple Mainframe teams on z/OS, including Console/Batch Monitoring, Scheduling, DB2, IMS, CICS, and Storage. This role demands strategic leadership, strong client interaction, and the ability to translate complex technical topics into actionable roadmaps.

The position supports remote work in the United States, with competitive compensation from $135,000 to $205,000 per year, plus bonus and equity

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; equivalent experience considered.
• Able to manage up, down and across organizations, clients and/or functions.
• Experienced in diverse mainframe technical environments and in mainframe infrastructure, hardware, system programming, and/or application development.
• Possess communication skills to lead at client/team/business-unit levels.
• Experienced leading complex projects and programs.
• Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project.
