Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Director of Leadership Annual Giving to lead a frontline fundraising team. You will coach 5–7 Managers, manage a 150–200 donor caseload, and collaborate with senior leadership to implement donor cultivation strategies.

This fully remote role allows base anywhere in the U.S., with a starting salary of $100,000–$110,000 depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years fundraising experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years staff management and team leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5-7 Leadership Annual Giving Managers and guide their professional development.
• Manage a personal caseload of 150–200 donors to move mid-level donors toward major gifts.
• Identify and target donors for visits and move them through the donor pipeline to major gifts portfolios.
• Collaborate with senior philanthropy leaders to design donor cultivation and solicitation strategies and touchpoint calendar.
• Track donor activity in CRM and maintain accurate records across portfolios.
