Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director of Government Pricing to oversee all federally mandated price calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP, VA Non-FAMP) and related reporting. You will ensure data accuracy and lead cross‑functional efforts with legal, audit, and commercial teams.

You will manage rebates, discounts, and regulatory requirements, driving analytics and governance to optimize pricing strategy while maintaining compliance with CMS guidance and state programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA/CPA/JD preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Minimum 5+ years directly focused on statutory Government Pricing calculations, operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead federally mandated price calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP, VA Non-FAMP) and related reporting.
• Oversee processing of government rebates and discounts (Medicaid rebates, Part D, IRA).
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal/state requirements and CMS guidance.
• Collaborate with Contract Operations, Market Access, and Pricing Committees; educate stakeholders through trainings.
