Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Director, Compliance, Global Trade to mature and strengthen its enterprise Global Trade compliance program. You will lead the Global Trade policy framework, risk assessments, records management, data quality, and technology portfolio across the enterprise.

The role reports to the VP & Senior Assistant General Counsel, Global Trade, and requires collaboration with Legal, IT, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders. This is a remote position with preference to Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Empowered Official capability.
• Extensive knowledge of export control, sanctions, and customs laws.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, or assessing compliance programs.
• Experience conducting or overseeing compliance assessments and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical skills using data, metrics, and trends.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts across the organization.
• Leadership experience mentoring professionals.
• US person per ITAR and Top Secret eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the Global Trade policy framework and governance.
• Lead risk-based self-assessment and monitoring for compliance.
• Translate findings into corrective actions and improvements to processes.
• Oversee records management standards and data quality.
• Enterprise owner of Global Trade technology portfolio.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, data governance for automation.
• Coordinate training and awareness programs for Global Trade.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings including DDTC and EAR.
• Travel between Reston, VA, and Washington, DC.
