Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Director, Compliance, Global Trade to mature its enterprise Global Trade compliance program. You will lead policy framework, risk assessments, records management, data integrity, technology and training across the organization.

This role reports to the Vice President & Senior Assistant General Counsel, Global Trade. It requires deep expertise in export controls, sanctions, and customs, plus leadership and cross-functional communication. Remote role preferred near Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years' relevant experience.
• Ability to serve as an Empowered Official.
• Extensive knowledge of export control, sanctions, and customs laws.
• Strong project and program management skills with multiple initiatives.
• Experience designing or assessing corporate compliance programs, policies, internal controls, or monitoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the Global Trade policy and procedure framework.
• Lead a risk-based Global Trade self-assessment and monitoring program.
• Translate assessment findings into corrective actions and improvements.
• Oversee Global Trade records management requirements and controls.
• Establish and maintain standards for Global Trade data quality and integrity.
• Serve as the enterprise owner of Leidos' Global Trade technology and tools portfolio.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify automation and process improvements.
• Oversee the Global Trade training and awareness program and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with leadership on corrective actions and remediation effectiveness.
• Travel between Reston, VA, Arlington, VA, and Washington, DC as needed.
