Ladders is seeking a Director, Market Access - Commercial Coverage & Reimbursement to join a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. This role owns the payer access strategy for genomic sequencing and genetic testing offerings, partnering with HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs to shape coverage and reimbursement across key markets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, MHA, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
• 18+ years of healthcare market access experience.
• Proven track record leading commercial payer strategies for genomic sequencing and genetic testing.
• Direct experience with national and regional commercial health plans.
• Strong payer policy development and reimbursement knowledge.
• Excellent strategic planning and executive communication.
• Willingness to travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute payer strategies for genomic sequencing and genetic testing products
• Lead engagement with commercial insurers to secure favorable coverage policies
• Build relationships with payer stakeholders, including medical directors and reimbursement leaders
• Collaborate with HEOR and Medical Affairs to generate supporting clinical and economic evidence
• Monitor payer policies and reimbursement trends
• Support product launches with payer value propositions
• Align commercial and public payer strategies with Government Affairs
• Serve as the subject matter expert on commercial payers
