American Red Cross is seeking a remote Fundraising Communications and Enablement Director to lead strategic fundraising messaging and materials across national and regional initiatives. You will oversee a team, partner with senior executives, and drive donor engagement through compelling narratives.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and creating high-impact communications content to support development and fundraising goals.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Create and oversee communications content, including talking points, key messages, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, FAQs, product information sheets, and other communication materials.
• Serve as the lead for external communications and public relations activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with American Red Cross communications standards, reputation management practices, and issues management protocols.
• Develop and manage content for: RedCross.org, The Exchange, Red Cross social media platforms
• Support organizational visibility and fundraising success through strategic communications and engagement efforts.
