Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Director, Field Reimbursement to lead national reimbursement and patient access across U.S. Ophthalmology portfolios. This remote role requires coordinating a dispersed field team, shaping payer strategies, and aligning cross-functional partners to improve patient access and reimbursement outcomes.

Travel up to 50% is expected to support field engagement and strategy execution. Ideal candidates bring deep experience in field reimbursement, market access, and payer relations,

Qualifications

• Experience leading national Field Reimbursement or Market Access organizations.
• Proven ability to influence payer policies and coverage dynamics.
• Strong leadership and remote/team development skills.
• Travel: Up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Field Reimbursement programs across the U.S. Pharmaceutical Glaucoma and Dry Eye portfolio.
• Develop national reimbursement and patient access strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead six Field Access Managers and supervise program execution and team development.
• Define SOPs for reimbursement support services and act as payer subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with Brand, Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs to align strategy.
