Job summary

Humana is seeking a Director, Event Strategy & Experience to Own the enterprise event strategy and portfolio, lead a team of event planners, and serve as advisor to executives. The role manages significant budgets, negotiates contracts, and ensures events align with corporate priorities.

The position is fully remote within the U.S. with up to 40% travel, reports to the VP of Associate Communications, and will lead 4-5 direct reports while driving governance and ROI across programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate events or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale events and executive experiences, including C-suite meetings and major conferences.
• Strong financial and operational management including budgets, contracts, risk management, and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to translate strategic priorities into compelling leadership meetings and events.
• Lead end-to-end event execution across a complex portfolio, including strategy, planning, production, logistics, and evaluation.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of event planners with clear priorities and standards.
