Job summary

Hidden Jobs is hiring a Director of Enabling Tech Product Management (Upstream Marketing) for a medical technology company. You will define the global strategy for enabling technologies across an orthopedic portfolio, driving long-range roadmaps in AR, navigation, robotics, and data-driven surgical solutions.

You will own the entire product lifecycle, ensure global scalability across regulatory environments, and translate strategy into compelling value propositions for surgeons and hospitals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least eight years of marketing experience within the medical device industry.
• At least five years focused on orthopedic enabling technologies.
• Proven track record launching and scaling complex capital equipment or technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures, ideally adult reconstruction.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a global environment and experience with financial modeling (NPV, ROI, capital investment decisions).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global enabling technology strategy, setting portfolio priorities and long-range roadmaps that integrate hardware, software, and data.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch, scale, and optimization, ensuring global scalability across regulatory environments and care settings.
• Translate strategy into commercial value propositions for surgeons, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers, driving launch excellence and adoption plans.
• Monitor competitive technologies and market trends, turning insights into actionable product and positioning decisions.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, marketing, and commercial teams, acting as the central hub between upstream strategy and downstream execution.
• Define and track KPIs including adoption rates, utilization, capital ROI, and procedural growth.
