Job summary

Empath Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization, seeks a Director, Clinical Technology Operations to provide strategic leadership for the EMR and clinical applications portfolio.

The role focuses on governance, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support across Hospice, Home Health, and related service lines, partnering with executive leaders to drive standardization, adoption, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of management experience leading application support, implementation, optimization, or clinical technology teams.
• Experience with EMR implementations and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Hospice and Home Health workflows, regulations, and operations.
• Experience with change management and workflow standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for EMR and clinical applications across the enterprise.
• Oversee enterprise clinical technology projects delivering on time, within scope, and aligned with goals.
• Lead implementation and optimization of clinical applications across Hospice, Home Health, and other service lines.
• Partner with clinical, operational, financial, compliance, and executive leaders to improve patient care and workflow.
• Develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, performance management and development.
• Promote standardized workflows, change management strategies, and data-informed decisions across platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships and application performance to maximize value.
