Job summary

Optum is seeking a Director, Client Delivery & Experience to lead AI strategy, large-scale initiative delivery, and the tools and processes that enable a strong client experience. You will partner with Technology, Product, data, and compliance teams to deliver scalable AI solutions and measurable value realization.

You’ll lead the Client Management Enablement team, driving readiness, governance, and continuous improvement, while aligning resources and priorities to client needs and enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years PBM experience in health plan or managed care operations.
• Strong program and project management skills across governance, dependencies and risk.
• Proven ability to define KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
• Experience leading annual client readiness, go-live support, and large-scale change initiatives.
• Proficient in Agile backlog management, user stories, and iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own AI strategy and prioritized portfolio for client management enablement with measurable outcomes.
• Drive large-scale cross-functional AI initiatives from discovery to deployment and adoption.
• Lead Enablement team with AI delivery as priority and support career development.
• Align team structure and skills to client needs and enterprise priorities.
• Define governance, roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and executive reporting.
• Oversee readiness, go-live support, and operational transitions, ensuring service continuity.
• Provide executive communication, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
