Job summary

Direct Auto Insurance is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. This role sells to local customers both in person and over the phone, while expanding market share through community involvement and referrals.

You will maintain a strong pipeline, develop relationships with dealerships and local partners, conduct outbound prospecting, and collaborate with leadership on local marketing

Qualifications

• 0 – 2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
