Job summary

Allegiance Group seeks a Direct Response Database Developer to design and maintain automated data pipelines for direct response fundraising. You will ensure donor and marketing data flow from ingestion to campaign execution, enabling accurate analytics and timely reporting.

The role collaborates with Data Analysts and client teams, requires strong SQL and relational databases, and focuses on data quality, automation, and the use of AI tools to improve efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in database development or data operations.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Ability to implement complex client business rules.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and data specifications with stakeholders.
• Load, cleanse, transform, and summarize donor data.
• Develop SQL queries, views, procedures, and triggers.
• Customize mappings and business rules for campaigns.
• Ingest and validate data to meet timelines.
• Prepare data files for campaigns and analytics.
• Support data delivery across client environments.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve processes.
• Apply AI tools to improve data workflows.
