Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Direct Loan Processor II to independently manage the full lifecycle of consumer loan processing from application through funding while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or some college preferred.
• 4+ years in fast-paced lending with high volume.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of state and federal lending laws, regs, and internal policies relevant to consumer lending and compliance.
• Manage a high volume of loan-related calls and applications to funding timelines.
• Handle an active pipeline of 40–50 applications with end-to-end ownership through funding.
• Perform quality control reviews to meet documentation standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collect and verify income, stipulations, insurance, and title documents for loan conditions.
• Provide exceptional member service to Golden 1 members and partners.
• Identify and mitigate fraud and identity theft; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate across departments to complete key steps in the loan process.
