Job summary

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is seeking a Direct Bill Triage Accountant for a remote, temporary full-time assignment. The role supports post-conversion activities, ensuring direct bill revenue is accurately posted, reconciled, and reported during agency transitions.

You will partner with Direct Bill Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve conversion challenges, train staff on commission processing workflows, and continuously improve playbooks during the transition period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage billing processes and related regulations.
• Experience with insurance agency management systems (EPIC and BenefitPoint preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Guide agencies through the post-conversion period and facilitate adoption of direct bill processes.
• Lead recurring meetings with agency staff to review outstanding items and drive adoption.
• Identify and resolve conversion-related gaps and process breakdowns with Direct Bill leadership.
• Monitor and reconcile direct bill transactions to ensure accurate posting to client accounts and GL.
• Deliver training and job aids on commission processing software and related systems.
• Collaborate with carrier relations and Operational Design Authority teams to ensure smooth post-conversion banking and reconciliation.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership regularly.
• Support continuous improvement of conversion playbooks, training materials, and implementation processes.
