Job summary

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is seeking a Direct Bill Supervisor to lead a centralized team and ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of direct bill revenue. You will drive consistency and operational excellence while supporting timely producer compensation.

You will mentor a team, resolve complex reconciliation issues, oversee monthly closings, and collaborate with carriers and agency teams. This role emphasizes leadership, process improvements, and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry and direct bill processes.
• Experience with EPIC and BenefitPoint.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Advanced Excel skills for large-volume data.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Direct Bill Accountants with coaching and performance management.
• Serve as escalation point for complex reconciliations and carrier issues.
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations for accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage workloads and staffing with the Direct Bill Operations Senior Manager.
• Support onboarding, banking transitions, and carrier consolidations.
• Guide teams in using commission posting platforms and reconciliation tools.
• Collaborate with carriers and agency teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Develop training materials and best practices for scalable operations.
