Job summary

V3 Companies is seeking a Project Surveyor to contribute to career-defining projects across North America. This remote opportunity supports teams of 450+ engineers and designers and focuses on accurate survey data and layout for diverse facilities.

You will perform CAD tasks, coordinate field layouts, and produce precise surface models while collaborating with clients and field staff to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in surveying or related field.
• Degree or related coursework is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Strong client communication and instruction-writing for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform CAD tasks in the preparation of construction surveys, layout calculations, ALTA, boundary, topographic, and specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.
