Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an agency or PR environment for major U.S. brands
• Passion for public relations, data-driven content, email outreach and media relations
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
• Proven project management skills with multiple projects
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Strong editing and grammar skills
• Experience crafting data-driven stories from surveys and data

Responsibilities

• Generate creative ideas to develop as content and pitch to journalists/bloggers
• Build media lists for a variety of B2B and B2C clients
• Collaborate with content marketing to create proprietary data for client thought leadership
• Pitch team-created content to news media to generate coverage
• Monitor news and proactively pitch new stories
• Write effective leads for pitches
• Develop relationships with writers, reporters and bloggers
• Conduct thorough research validating sources and data
