Siege Media is hiring a Data Journalist to turn surveys, studies, and internal data into clear, media-ready narratives that drive PR performance for clients.

This remote-first role requires 3+ years in content marketing, digital PR, or journalism, plus strong editing and project-management skills and a passion for data-driven storytelling.

The position is 100% remote in the US, with a salary range of $60,000–$65,000 DOE and benefits including health, dental, 401(k) match, and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in content marketing, digital PR, or journalism.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong editing and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and package content that highlights new trends, insights, and findings and drives PR performance for clients.
• Transform complex data from surveys, studies, and internal research into clear, engaging, and media-ready narratives.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate data visualizations and graphics.
• Analyze datasets to uncover concepts and story angles for multiple audiences, including media outlets and clients.
• Work cross-functionally with account managers, designers, PR specialists and others to ensure quality and branding.
