Job summary

The Trevor Project is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to drive high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns and activations. You will collaborate with Marketing, Content, Development, and Communications teams to leverage data, optimize channels, and guide SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-team collaboration, and a commitment to equity and belonging in a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing integrated marketing strategies informed by data analytics.
• Experience developing and implementing SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies.
• Non-profit experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to quickly react to changing conditions and identify risks.
• Proficiency in: Asana or other project management software, Google Suite, Google Analytics (GA4), Wordpress at a basic level, Sprout Social, Mailchimp, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-channel strategy across teams via Quarterly Planning to create distribution plans.
• Leverage data to optimize activations and campaigns per channel with owners to meet goals.
• Analyze data during monthly/quarterly reporting to provide insights for strategies.
• Utilize MailChimp, Asana, WordPress, and SproutSocial for project implementation and reporting.
• Apply audience insights to marketing activations and campaigns.
• Lead SEO, AEO, and GEO optimization efforts and implementation strategies.
• Provide marketing and content strategy consultation to internal teams and partners.
• Support cross-department communications related to project plans and reporting.
