International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is recruiting a Digital Inclusion Consultant for remote engagement on ICT accessibility and inclusive policies. The roster will support ITU-D Digital Inclusion work across research, programmatic efforts and project implementation.

The consultant will work under the Digital Inclusion Service, delivering analytical products, training materials, and stakeholder engagement support for diverse groups including women, youth and persons with disabilities,

Qualifications

• University degree in telecom, information tech, law, international development or related field.
• Advanced degree would be advantageous.
• Experience in digital inclusion topics or policy development is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert advisory on digital inclusion topics and ICT accessibility.
• Undertake research, consultations and analyses relevant to target groups and contexts.
• Develop analytical and knowledge products: background papers, briefing notes, case studies.
• Support design, implementation and monitoring of digital inclusion projects and workplans.
• Contribute to progress monitoring, risk evaluation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with partners, regional offices and stakeholders as requested.
• Develop training materials, tools and resources for capacity-building.
