The UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (UNODET) invites applications for a remote internship focused on event planning, stakeholder engagement, or policy coordination. This project-based placement supports high-level UN events such as the Global Dialogue on AI Governance and contributes to implementing the Global Digital Compact.

Qualifications

• Experience with event organization or multi-stakeholder processes.
• Familiarity with governance of technology (AI, internet governance, digital rights).
• Experience with website content management or digital platforms.

Responsabilités

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of UN high-level events.
• Assist in managing event logistics, invitations, registrations.
• Prepare background notes, agendas, speaking points, briefing docs.
• Coordinate across partners and workstreams for timely execution.
• Engage stakeholders to promote Global Digital Compact implementation.
• Attend UN meetings, draft summary notes and reports.
• Monitor developments in UN digital technologies mechanisms.
