OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a Digital Imaging Specialist / Digital Artist to edit, annotate, and create 2D and 3D visual assets for AI training. This 100% remote, project-based, part-time role requires 20+ hours per week and accepts applicants worldwide.

You'll work with briefs, references and quality guidelines to produce consistent visual variations, document workflows, and contribute to AI model evaluation through careful labeling and feedback.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience as a 2D or 3D artist or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio of stylized 2D and 3D work demonstrating material exploration.
• Ability to recreate real-world materials and handcrafted textures convincingly.
• Familiarity with non-photorealistic rendering workflows and plugins/scripts for After Effects, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D.

Responsibilities

• Edit, annotate, and modify images based on briefs, references, and guidelines.
• Create variations that maintain consistent style, composition, color, lighting, texture, and detail.
• Handle image retouching, compositing, cleanup, and background editing.
• Recreate or improve textures, materials, objects, characters, and scenes.
• Complete classification, bounding box, and object detection annotation tasks.
• Apply feedback accurately and deliver production-ready visual assets.
