Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead to guide standards and model-based practices across complex client programs, shaping processes, templates, and automation to improve engineering quality, traceability, and delivery discipline. You will partner with technical teams and clients from kickoff through release management.

The role also involves coaching engineers on model-based methods while helping drive consistent outcomes across electrical, harness, and mechanical design workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital or model-based engineering, with hands-on MBD experience.
• Experience leading MBd/MBE standards, templates, and automation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and model-based definition standards (ASME Y14.5, Y14.41).
• Experience implementing digital thread and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain model-based design authoring standards and related templates.
• Set strategies for neutral-derivative and automated-analysis outputs.
• Establish the PLM release path and engineering change processes.
• Integrate electrical and harness design standards alongside mechanical parts.
• Manage quality gates and ensure traceability from engineering to hardware.
• Oversee project delivery including kickoff and schedule management.
• Coach engineers on model-based processes and tools.
