Job summary

Ragan Communications seeks a digital-first designer to join our creative team. You will craft engaging digital experiences across websites, emails, landing pages, and campaigns, applying UX/UI best practices to boost user engagement and business impact.

The role covers design for digital assets, print materials, and branded collateral, with AI-powered workflows and tools like Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. A strong portfolio and 5-7 years of design experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years design experience in-house, agency or freelance environments
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design and marketing campaigns
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design and digital best practices
• Strong attention to detail with high-quality deliverables
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and presentation tools
• Comfortable using AI tools to generate ideas and accelerate production
• Keeps up with digital design trends and emerging technologies
• Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

• Design digital assets including websites, emails, landing pages, banners and campaigns
• Apply UX/UI best practices to create engaging digital experiences
• Create presentations, reports and branded materials using Adobe tools and AI-powered tools
• Assist with design, print production and layout projects like reports and event materials
• Produce video, motion graphics and training content as needed
• Use tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lovable and AI platforms to enhance output
• Develop assets supporting conferences, memberships, training programs and products
• Contribute from concept to execution and turn ideas into creative solutions
• Bring fresh ideas and AI trend insights to the team
• Partner with Creative Director on projects across digital, print and experiential channels
