Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to lead storytelling, shoot/edit photos and videos, and own day-to-day management of all organic social channels. You will collaborate with Marketing to maintain brand standards and execute digital strategies across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or related field.
• 2+ years of social media management experience.
• Strong understanding of social media spaces, communities, and trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and leadership to create engaging content.
• Execute digital marketing strategies and maintain editorial calendars.
• Actively engage with audiences on all platforms and respond to inquiries.
• Manage time-sensitive content and ensure timely urgent posts.
• Shoot and edit photo/video content within brand parameters.
• Oversee the collection and filing of storytelling assets in a central archive.
• Support email marketing efforts and Salesforce Marketing Cloud usage.
• Assist with website updates and general site maintenance.
• Coordinate with external partners to optimize content strategy and fundraising pages.
• Capture engaging photos/videos at events and internal activities.
