Job summary

On Think Tanks is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to manage our digital platforms and the tools that connect them. This fully remote, part-time role supports content publication, audience engagement, and performance monitoring across our website, social channels, Patreon, and newsletters.

You’ll collaborate with the Communications Manager and Content Manager to ensure timely content delivery, consistent user experiences, and continuous improvement of our digital presence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing social media, community platforms, or digital comms.
• Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics to drive decisions.
• Understanding of SEO basics and paid campaigns.
• Ability to juggle multiple platforms and deadlines independently and with a remote team.
• Strong written and spoken English; a second language (French or Spanish) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.) and community spaces, including scheduling, posting, moderation, and engagement.
• Administer and maintain the organisation's website and content, menus, navigation, and pages; coordinate with external providers as needed.
• Audit user journeys across digital platforms to ensure a smooth experience; propose improvements based on data.
• Manage Patreon page and membership interactions, ensuring content delivery to members.
• Oversee Mailchimp account, lists, segmentation, and deliverability; coordinate audience lists for newsletters and initiatives.
• Support SEO and paid campaigns; track conversions and engagement from organic and paid activity.
• Publish and maintain jobs board and events calendar; coordinate publication with internal teams.
• Maintain platform access management and documentation; coordinate renewals and subscriptions.
• Collect performance data and contribute to monthly/quarterly reports; propose platform improvements.
