The Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition is seeking a part-time Digital Communications Coordinator to support social media, website updates, email campaigns, digital storytelling, and communications with Tribal leadership and partner organizations.

Remote-first role with 20-25 hours per week; candidates based in NM, AZ, UT, or CO preferred, with Albuquerque, NM as a strong preference. Compensation is $29-$33 per hour, commensurate with experience, and travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Create, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms.
• Support the creation of short-form video content for social media.
• Design graphics and visual content using Canva/Adobe.
• Capture and organize photo and video content during events.
• Assist in website content updates and basic WordPress maintenance.
• Monitor media coverage and summarize opportunities and concerns.
• Coordinate with Tribal leadership and partner organizations for campaigns.
