Job summary

Meridial is seeking an experienced Audio Editor to prepare and clean spoken-word audio for post-production. This role requires proficiency in iZotope RX and Pro Tools, with a strong emphasis on critical listening skills and attention to detail.

As a remote contractor, you will work independently to deliver high-quality audio for various projects, collaborating with technical teams to address audio engineering challenges. A degree in a related field is preferred, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in dialogue editing and sound post‑production.
• Excellent critical listening skills to identify mic changes, clipped dialogue, and noise masking issues.
• Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, broadcast-ready dialogue.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and optimize spoken‑word audio for post‑production delivery.
• Diagnose, flag, & edit audio to required specifications for various clients.
