Job summary

MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. region, is expanding its Nighthawk Radiology Division by adding Diagnostic Radiologists for evening and overnight remote work across the United States.

The role offers a base compensation of $600,000 annually with potential to exceed $750,000 through extra shifts and incentives, plus comprehensive benefits and sign-on due to the high-demand after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
• Fellowship training preferred.
• Must maintain licensure in the state from which readings are performed.

Responsibilities

• Final interpretations for after-hours CT and ultrasound studies.
• Some X-ray coverage with occasional MRI interpretation.
• Collaborative shared coverage model for after-hours provider and technologist questions.
