Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Drone as First Responder (DFR) Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end deployment of CAPE-based drone programs within the Cloud Deployment Operations Organization. You will design architectures, manage integration with CAD/RMS, and deliver remote and onsite support for public safety customers.

The role requires 3+ years of drone-related work, a FAA Part 107 certification, and willingness to travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required; Master's preferred.
• Experience in drone or UAS deployments and public safety is valued.
• Strong knowledge of networks, cloud, APIs, and CAD/RMS is essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult with public safety customers to assess needs and design tailored DFR solutions.
• Define system architecture, hardware needs, and integration strategies after reviewing current infrastructure.
• Architect end-to-end data workflows with CJIS security and retention compliance.
